Beautiful views and much more quiet than Old Faithful if you stay at Grant Village

Awesome place and very quiet. So still in the morning but actually can get white caps with wind in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

We drove from Old Faithful towards Yellowstone Lake.. We stopped at West Thumb and i must say we enjoyed every bit of it.. It is a must see.. You will get scenery, wild life, lake..We were lucky to see wild life on the roads which will slow down the vehicles..

The lake is so beautiful that I regret spending only one afternoon there. The water is very clean. Many good places to take pictures surrounding the lake. The best place might be the West Thumb.

We stayed in the Lake Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed walking by the lake. It's one of the prettiest spots in Yellowstone.

This is a wonderful lake and it's huge! The best viewing spot is on the East end off the park. This an amazing lake and is impossible to miss during your visit. Most beautiful lake in the world.

This Lake is huge, and the back drop is the mountains, it just takes your breath away!! We went to the West Thumb area, when we got out of our car, on the sidewalk there are bear prints and another set of animals prints (Elk, Deer? something with hooves) in the cement. The kids thought this was so cool to... More

This was one of the most beautiful spots in all of Yellowstone! We weren't even planning on going but we needed to use the restroom so we stopped. It is a gorgeous site, and we sat on a picnic table outside the general store to eat a snack because we didn't want to leave. Beautiful!

This was one of our last stops on our trip in Yellowstone. It was calm and peaceful with places to sit all around. The lodge has a "cafe" type restaurant with not a lot of great choices but it will fill you up. We also just wondered around the area and took some pictures. A nice end to a busy... More
