Gift from the shouse family to the US Park Service. Large venue with star performances. You can sit closer or picnic on the hillside. In addition, the Barnes at Wolf Trap have performances with more narrow interest and community. Outstanding well managed and maintained property. About a third of the way from tysons corner to dulles airport. Exit off 267.... More

This venue is one of our go to places to see a concert. The atmosphere is casual and how wonderful that you can BYOB and bring your own snacks. A true local gem.

A group of friends and I gather at Wolf Trap at least once a summer for a concert. It's always a blast! Because the weather can be unpredictable, we always spring for tickets inside the Filene Center pavilion, but we enjoy a picnic outside on the grass first. There are many folks who opt to buy the general admission tickets... More

Living right next to the venue gave me advantages to just walk to the box office in the beginning of the season to grab some good tickets with affordable prices for some great shows! I love the casual atmosphere here and the indoor/outdoor setting! We took my daughter and her friend here to see Lindsey Sterling, and my sister and... More

I live about 2 miles from Wolf Trap and go every year to at least one event. I carefully pack my dinner, select a bottle of wine, roll up my blanket, place it all in my backpack, take down my chair back from the shelf, make sure I have my ticket in my pocket, and drive leisurely to Wolf Trap.....I... This is a nice place for live music. You can bring coolers in with food and alcohol. Only downside- you can not take anything to drink into the coveted seats. We have had some really rude ushers but for the most part, it's all good. It is a beautiful place on a summer night for entertainment.

I have been attending the outdoor music and entertainment venue for 16 years. So glad to make this summer my 17th year. I rarely buy seats. Let me explain. There is proper theatre seating. You pay more and sit in your assigned seat. I think you are allowed to have a clear plastic water bottle. Sometimes people become angry if... More

I've been to probably over a hundred music venues and this one always stands out as the best. Its beautiful inside and there is a not a bad seat in the house. Great sound quality and awesome setting!

This outdoor music venue is a true national treasure. The grounds are lush and perfect for picnicking as well as laying back, staring at the stars and listening to live music. The sound system is state of the art and parking is plentiful. It's a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy the outdoors.
