I have harkened to Wolf Trap for many performances, from opera to orchestral to pop to country and jazz, just about all of the musical performing arts. My most recent trip was for its Nashville performance and it was terrific fun. I have sat up...More

So wow, just wow! Not sure I can find the right adjectives to describe this place. Easy to find and park, even though we did follow their advice and got there early as I can see how about parking could be difficult if you got...More

We visited there to see YES, a prog rock band that I've been into since the 70s. They played for around 2 hours and except for one rather spacy tune (complete with church organ and Irish harp) I really liked it. Their sound system was...More

Wolf Trap is a national park and is the only one to feature a Performing Arts Center and is the only national park that sells alcohol!!! However, remember crimes committed here could be construed as federal crimes!! That aside, this place is exhilarating, exciting, exceptional,...More

Pick all the concerts and shows that you'd like to see, buy the tix and just go have fun! It's a National Park so it's kept clean and riff raff free. You won't be disappointed.

Wolf Trap never disappoints. It almost doesn't matter who the artist is, it's just glorious to be outside, even if it can be a bit warm on a humid summer night. I'm not sure there is a bad seat in the house. We had loge...More

We have enjoyed summer evenings at Wolf Trap for about 20 years. Their entertainment is varied - from the National Symphony to aging Motown quartets. The restaurant there is very good, and it is a great place to go with a group of friends.

We've sat on the lawn, had seats in the FIlene Center (both close up and last row), and been in the Barns during the winter. We've left with smiles on our faces every time. The place is architecturally beautiful, with lots of wood that gives...More

Not sure about a buffet but you can picknick on the grass. Try to get there early for a good spot. Ps- bring your own adult beverages as theirs cost a fortune!

We have not had any issue with mosquitoes, but perhaps take repellant, just in case. It is wonderful there, that noone judges your attire. You can go casual as you like or dress up. You see a little of both. I do suggest... More
