We learned so much about this site. When we entered the building we purchased tickets for the tour. We had to wait a bit for the tour to begin but it wasn't long. Once the tour began we watched a short informative video about the site and what happened to create the site. After the video we were given headphones... More

I participated in one of their two-week dig sessions here and it was an amazing experience. For a comprehensive fee, participants get the experience of a lifetime in digging in the "bone bed." You also get room and board for the two weeks along with lectures and field trips.

We went to see a colleagues' daughter who is doing her internship at Mammoth Site and couldn't have been more pleased with our visit. Until you get inside and learn the history, you have no appreciation for what is being done there to unearth and categorize all the artifacts being unearthed.

Took my grandson and great nephew (8/9). They loved it. They had so many questions and the guide was patient and knowledgeable. The 3D Titans .movie was nothing special. Wouldn't pay the extra $ to go. The movie that comes with admission is much better. Definitely worth the trip.

We learned a lot on the tour. It was smaller than I thought it would be but still kept our interest. It was interesting to see the fossils and the history behind it. Our kids are 7 and 9 and it held their interest. They show a video in the beginning that our whole group enjoyed.

This is a quality exhibit that should be on everyone's to do list. I was fascinated by the exhibits and learned so much while there. The kids were engaged and really enjoyed the experience. Very educational and fun. Recommend highly.

I easily spent a couple of hours here, perhaps because I always have been interested in paleontology but even so it is well worth a visit. The guides can answer just about any question or can get an answer for you. Again-go, it is well worth it.

I went to this when I was just a kid, and I was so surprised to see how much they've done. It looks a lot different since they've excavated more and added a museum room. The tour is a must-see. It starts with a video that explains how the site was formed and what you're basically looking at then continues... More

We spent over 3 hours in this oh-so-fascinating attraction. Loved seeing the on-going archeological dig. The guide had full knowledge of the site. There are a few stairs to climb, but only if you want to get real close to the bones. They are optional. We really enjoyed the exhibits of other animals that roamed during that era.
