Nice spot to relax along the river
This part was much bigger than I expected. There is a path that goes along the edge of the river, there is a small rose garden area, a large playground, and even some large adult-sized swings that overlook the river. I was there on a Thursday afternoon; it was quite and very peaceful.

    The Visit is Worth it
We went to visit Smale Park because people have been saying great things about it. Definitely worth the visit. We went during July 4th weekend so there were not a lot of people. Parking was free as well that day. The park has a labyrinth which our kids found interesting. There are a number of things to do there as well including a giant keyboard where you step on the note and it makes sound. There are also activities that are educational as well as fun such as a rope walk, slides, and activities where water is involved. A recommendation is to bring a towel when visiting. The flowers were nice, but it would be even more beautiful when visiting during the spring. We also like the swings which you can sit on while overlooking the Ohio River. Definitely plan on coming back.

Beautiful Sights and Fun Things to do!
This park is absolutely beautiful! There are many things to see! We didn't walk very far unfortunately because it was quite chilly and breezy the day we visited, but the swings along the river were so much fun and the flying pig was a must-do! The Roebling Bridge is also beautiful! We walked across it into Covington for dinner. Highly Recommend! Parking garages line the opposite side of the street from the park and we paid about $9 for around 2+ hours there.

You forget you’re in the city while in this park
We walked here from Paycor Stadium. They need better signs directing you to the park, but locals pointed us in the right direction. Beautiful park! Very clean. The bridge to KY was cool. Once you go under the bridge it’s a nice path. Beautiful flowers. Slides for kids. Swing benches that were very relaxing to chill on. Cool sculptures. Wish we had walked the whole park because we missed checking out other cool things. Very glad we checked it out.

Our daughter loved everything from the playground and flying pig, to the swings and the view. Out of everything we did in our short time in Cincy, she loved the family swings alongside the river.

OK, the GPS took me to the entrance which requires a $5 credit card payment for parking. Really? Fortunately I was able to back out and find a spot nearby on Pete Rose Way for free. It’s a small park that’s pleasant enough but certainly not worth the cost for parking. There was nothing of note going on and I spent perhaps 15 minutes walking around. By the same token I could park for free across the river at the small park in Bellevue, Kentucky with a view of Cincinnati. It’s OK but not worth the $5 parking fee.

Nice place for everyone to walk and enjoy. Green and clean with the exception of a few irresponsible pet owners.

A great park at the river- something for everyone. Swings by the driver, water fountain to play in, benches throughout the park, beautiful flowers and garden area and some unique structures for kids to play (flying pig)

there is splash pool (may be only in summer time), you can also see the view of the bridges across the river. but there is no free parking, you need to pay for the garage parking.
