Great walk... even for the kids

Recently took my kids and several nieces and nephews (ages 3-11) across the bridge. It was quite a bit of fun. The kids loved being able to walk to a new state. The distance was doable for most of the kids without excessive piggyback rides. Make sure to spend some time at the murals on the Kentucky side, and Smale... More

We are tourists in the area, and I found out about this bring on Trip Advisor. We decided to check it out, and I'm so glad we did! Our family of four drove over then parked and walked the span of the bridge. It was a great experience for all of us!

We stayed in the Ascent building which is right next to the bridge and so got to see it at all times of day and in all weather conditions. It is a great piece of engineering. take a walk over it. It gives good views of the Bengals stadium and the big screen, so if you can't get a ticket... More

Not a lot to see on the bridge, but if you like old history ad old things, it's something to say you crossed the Ohio River from Cincinnati OH to Covington KY on a 150+ year old suspension bridge. Beautiful views of both cities and the park (on OH side) was very clean and colorful with fall flowers. Doesn't take... More

My family enjoyed a day in downtown Cincinnati and were able to walk across the bridge. It was a really cool view. It had a very nice walking path. Once we reached the other side we were actually in Kentucky. We thought it was neat to say we walked all the way from Ohio to Kentucky! A cool sight to... More

Very nice walk with great views of the river, Cincinnati, and Covington. You have to see Smale Riverfront park and the Covington murals.

We had dinner in Newport, KY and then walked across this bridge to Cincinnati, OH. It was a pleasant evening and there were two street musicians playing as we walked. I'm not sure the full distance of bridge but I would guess about 1/2 - 1 mile. Just long enough for pleasant after dinner walk. Only downside, low tide smell... More

Really neat old bridge! At the Kentucky end there are several murals painted on the flood walls. Very cool. The stone and architecture of this bridge is very impressive! It's in great shape for a bridge that old. There are beautiful parks with lots of things designed for kids on the Cincinnati end of the bridge. We walked back and... More
