Fun experience to walk the bridge
This is an architecturally beautiful bridge built by the same designer that later did the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC. It's lovely to see in both daylight and when it's lit up at night. I actually walked across it from the Cincy side to the Covington, KY side. It's a fairly easy walk, as you just need to do a set of stairs to get up to the main platform area. I was able to see a riverboat passing underneath the bridge while I was walking on it. You get good views of both sides of the river when walking the bridge.

    Architectual wonder of its time.
Much more than a tourist destination. Many locals use the walkways (found on both sides of the bridge) for walking/jogging/bicycling. Moderate number of stairs to access walkway on either side. Wide walkways. Minimal vibration when traffic goes by. Amazing view. Wonderful green areas on the OH side, large murals on KY side tell history of area. Don’t miss this one.

I love the Brooklyn Bridge and wanted to walk across this John Roebling bridge as well.
We parked on the Covington side in free parking on a Sunday afternoon. Their was a baseball game ending so it was fun to see so many happy fans. The bridge is very cool, similar in style to my favorite Brooklyn Bridge. The murals under the Bridge are excellent also. Definitely, approach from KY if you are just walking it

I like walking across bridges, especially ones that lead from one state to another. So this one was fun even if it is a rather short walk (10 min if strolling?). The views of Covington and Cincinnati are lovely from each side.
This bridge doesnt indicate when you cross the state line like the Purple People Bridge, but it does have spots on the walk where you can use a QR code and hear some history about the bridge and its construction.

This bridge was constructed before the Brooklyn Bridge. It was practice. There are small parks to walk around the area and look at the view. The best part is that you can walk up the stairs to actually walk on the bridge. The address I used was 100 W Merhing Way.

A must see if you like architecture, engineering or just neat old structures. Can drive or walk across. Excellent viewing and pic opportunities at a parking area on the KY side of the bridge.

This is clearly a historical landmark for Ohio along the Ohio River. Clean. You can drive, walk or bike across.

Love driving over the bridge to get to Covington landing. The sound is so soothing! You can also walk/bike from the riverfront in Cincinnati to the Covington side. Both have things to do, see, eat.

We were able to view this bridge from atop our hotel, the AC Marriott. Got a different perspective, viewing both during the day and again at night. Beautiful blue color during the day and well lit in bright white lights at night.
