Riverwalk
About
Take a pleasant walk along the Ohio River and enjoy the fantastic views of the Cincinnati skyline on the three-mile-long Riverwalk. This trail connects several waterfront parks in downtown Cincinnati. Start at the Smale Riverfront Park, which has giant swings and water play areas. You can also bike along the Ohio River before crossing the historic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge to reach Kentucky and enjoy a commanding vista of the city. After enjoying the trail, you might want to watch a baseball match at the Great American Ball Park nearby, or visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. – Tripadvisor

Just spend a couple hours here. Kid, dog and bike friend. One of if not the most beautiful river walk I’ve been to.

This is a Roebling Bridge. It was build before the Manhattan Bridge. He learned by building this one. It is amazing to walk across. I really enjoyed seeing it after I read a book about the construction.

We loved the river walk. The walkway is well maintained and the area is clean. The views of the river, bridge, ballparks and skyline can’t be beat

The River walk along “The Banks” of the Ohio river is a must do for anyone who loves beautiful scenery while getting a sense of the city. Perfect for families with children as there are numerous playgrounds and activities. Great historical info along the way too. We did a loop that was roughly 5 miles that took us through two states and three cities, walking on the Cincinnati side to the Purple People’s bridge (a cool pedestrian bridge) to Newport, Kentucky, then across another smaller bridge to Covington, Kentucky where we walked around a residential neighborhood of Civil War era homes. Nearby are some great local restaurants where we stopped for a bite to eat and rest before walking on the Roebling suspension bridge back to Cincinnati. Great way to spend a beautiful day!

Nice but a lot of construction, closed areas and inactivity. Located between the Stadium and Ballpark. Could really be a nice area especially on good weather days. Worth a visit.

Beautiful walk way with landscaping, playgrounds, shady seating, waterfalls and views. We enjoyed walking with the bikers, runners and fog walkers. There were some picnicking & lists of events scheduled here.

This is nothing great but it’s a nice place to stroll. Lots of space. Hop on a scooter for some fun. The walking bridge looks like it could break through any day now. Cool view from there.
