Very pretty and large enough to feel away from it all.

Think Mt Airy is the largest of the Hamilton County (greater Cincinnati) parks. There are lots of paths, entrances, and recreational areas. It is made up of rolling and steeper... read more

From a trail running perspective, the trails here are top-notch. Trails are well maintained and pretty well marked. Plenty of elevation and rugged terrain to be had if you want it. I was very surprised to find such good trail running so close to Cincinnati. I would imagine it's pretty gorgeous when there are leaves on the trees, but I... More

Amazing place to hike in the city - especially nice when trees are changing. Must be at least 10 miles of trails. Also popular for cycling and frisbee golf, but the park is nearly always quiet and peaceful. There is also a garden/pond area popular for photography

Think Mt Airy is the largest of the Hamilton County (greater Cincinnati) parks. There are lots of paths, entrances, and recreational areas. It is made up of rolling and steeper hills with fairly dense tree growth.

We visited the "forest", which seemed more like a huge park. There appears to be multiple entrances for the park. The MAIN entrance off Colerain has a fork in the road, one going left and the other right. If you go right into the park, you will be entering the arboretum section. This is where all the plants and gardens... More

Have been dropping in at MAF many time over the years. Some nice hiking trails (short). The arboretum offers lots of attractions, walking areas, and diverse flora.

We went to this park on Sunday of labor day weekend... There was a HUGE family reunion being held there. We were looking for a more peaceful time, so we drove around a bit. The hiking trials weren't marked very well and the Arboretum was closed. The gardens around the Arboretum were in need of some TLC and up keep.... More

Took a group of children 4yrs to 10yrs old, Enjoyed hiking, wild life and the famous Tree House. Upon driving in we stopped to watch a flock of wild turkey cross the roadway in front of us. During playground time, raccoons were seen scampering around in the woods at edge of clearing. Several raccoon tried to sneak out of cover... More

This park is quite impressive. It is very large, and has a lake, trails, and an arboretum. Also, it has a professional-quality disc golf course. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the city, you wouldn't imagine how large this forest is. There are multiple entrances and it is large enough to get lost but overall beautiful. They have some ponds and trails, gazebos and beautiful vegetation. Definitely a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life, and even better, it's only a few... More
