We live only about 2 hours away from this museum and for us, it was a quick day trip. Our experience was excellent from start to finish! We arrived on a scorching hot day in June and as soon as we stepped out of our...More

I was there just after the 4th of July. The grandkids had just as much fun as the adults. The kids visited the trading post and found out they could do a scavenger hunt for answers around the museum. After they answered all the questions...More

There's alot of history at this location. In the 30's, 40's and 50's this place was super busy with trains. Now it has an occasional amtrak train go thru. The murals have been moved to the Greater Cincinnati International airport. From time to time they...More

The Museum Center is simply amazing! 3 museums in one location... each as extraordinary as the next. Large and very well organized. So much to see. We went 2 days in a row so we didn't have to rush.

I feel like I grew up in this building, very family-friendly and there is always a special event happening, on top of the two amazing museums and the IMAX theater and kid's area. And don't forget to view the train room! It's free and everyone...More

If I purchase tickets online, do they have to be printed or can I just show them on my phone?

The Museum Center will accept your tickets from your phone as long as you can pull up the PDF and can show the barcode.

What is the best option to save money for admission? I see on their website there's a discount for adult+child, but often times businesses have unpublished discounts such as educator, AAA, government employee, etc. Anyone know the least expensive route to go, before I order online? I realize I can call the museum myself but appreciate visitors' experiences.

WE just went for the Viking exhibit and there is not much else to see right now. I always try to use AAA when I can as it often seems to offer the best discount.

We are planning a trip this weekend to the Museum and Omni, however I just saw a post from another user that this facility is closed due to renovations, but there is nothing posted on the website. I called but didn't get a response. Just want to be sure we know BEFORE we buy tickets online! Also, if it is open, is it better to be there first thing in the morning? We have never been, and all the exhibits seem really exciting! Can anyone provide their experience with the National Parks Adventure Omni presentation? Would it be entertaining for a 6 & 11 year old? Thanks!!
