My boys (4 and 7) had a really great time at Valley Forge, and I think they actually learned something! They enjoyed looking at all of the old artifacts in the visitors center and talking with the employees/actors who were dressed in full wartime attire....More

We took the time to hike the entire battlefield and are glad we did. The park is well laid out for families, hikers, runners, bikers and Scouts. We spent 4 hours here and could have spent more time. We wish we had brought a picnic...More

Neat site to check out. Tour by trolley was great. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. The museum is well done with lots of info and cool artifacts. Definitely worth a visit.

Start with the film in the visitor center, then drive or bike/walk your way around the park to see the sights of one of the most important encampments from the Revolutionary War. Many locals come here just to bike/walk/run, and that is very enjoyable also....More

This was a very nice place to visit. Some of the guides for this time of the year had different stories from the 1700's that added a lot of perspective to the tour. The driving tour was very easy to do with the map and...More

We had a nice visit, and the park staff were excellent - gave special attention to our kid that was really appreciated. But we drove 3 hours to see the park and on the day we planned to visit, the visitor's center and Washington's Headquarters...More

If you are going to walk to most of the exhibits at valley forge, you need to schedule about 5 hours. That way you can listen to the lectures at the visitors center, Washington's headquarters, and the huts. Then there is... More

If you're driving, you can go as fast as you like and someone can narrate from the map. But easier, faster and more informative to park and take the tour for 1.5(?) hrs and have someone else drive and talk.
