Great location, boyfriend and I went on a 5 mile walk here.

Scenery is beautiful, the landscape is great, and the people are so friendly. I would visit here again and again.

I love running through Valley Forge Park. It is so beautiful and there is a lot of history there. There are a lot of different places you can park so you get a variety of running trails to take advantage of.

Enjoyed the Welcome Center, friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Park itself was beautiful on a warm winters day.

I've traveled there many times for a variety of reasons. Grounds are beautiful, Chapel is a must see and a very informative visitors center and museum. The world is sometimes a very hard place to deal with. Places like this give you a reason to pause, reflect and relax. They don't teach American History in school the way they use... More

Stop by the visitor center first to view the artifacts and learn about the soldiers and Washington's time at Valley Forge. I found the 15-20 minute movie to be very informative. It was a shortened version of a longer movie. Most of the loop around the park is just the open space. There are recreations of the soldier cabins, the... More

Spent a morning exploring this Revolutionary War site. The exhibits were well designed and informative (though they could use an update in the film). I was excited to learn more about Valley Forge and the winter Washington and his soldiers spent there. After walking around the visitor center, we followed the driving tour throughout the park. The driving tour focuses... More

Recently on a bus tour we had the opportunity for a short visit to Valley Forge Historic park. I'm glad I finally got to see it, and as we all learned in our school books, Valley Forge was where the American Continental Army under the leadership of George Washington and with the help and strict training by the Prussian Assumed/General... Have always hear about Washington at Valley Forge, but it was so impressive. The trolley system helped you see everything you wanted to see. The ranger guide was very knowledgable and learns so much I didn't know about the Revolution and Washington's time at Valley Forge. It makes the Revolution so real and immediate. The grounds are lovely! Would recommend... More

We were in town for a wedding and only had an hour and a half to explore. The staff at the info center were helpful and gave people a good intro on what to see and do there. We decided to start with the 18-minute film, which I thought provided a good overview of the site. We decided we didn't... More

Valley Forge National Historic Park is a must stop at for history loves and hikers alike. From Washington's Headquarters to the forts to the cannons, you do feel like you are transported back to another era. This is a GREAT spot for walkers, bikers and runners. Plenty of benches and picnic tables to make this a family stop. I really... More
