Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant Reviewer, Chef Matthew Gray. It's for those who love food & fun. Voted Best Tours on Oahu for the past two years in a row!

Two different daily tours; one takes place in & around Honolulu... the other goes to the North Shore. We will feed, educate and entertain you all day long!

MSNBC Network called us one of the best food experiences in the world! These fantastic tours feature Yummy Food, Fascinating History, and Culinary Decadence!

Our Famous Hole-in-the-Wall Tour™ includes a behind-the-scenes walking and tasting tour in Honolulu's amazingly colorful Chinatown! It's an entertaining, informative and FUN Honolulu City Tour with several stops, including 2 of Hawaii's most famous Bakeries & one of a kind Marketplaces. You'll be eating between 15 & 20 different foods! This tour takes place all over Honolulu, away from the touristy areas of Waikiki, where only the real locals go to eat.

Our North Shore Food Tour™ gives guests a tasty glimpse of the colorful and rural "countryside" area of our island of Oahu. Many people read about the North Shore, about the beautiful huge waves, the garlic shrimp trucks, and rustic away-from-the-city areas, and that's what we give our

guests, including some genuine Hawaiian food, a garlic shrimp plate, various pastries, Hawaiian Beer, and a visit to a coffee and sugar plantation.

My wife and I did this food tour as part of our honeymoon. Matthew and Lynn were our tour guides and they were the most hospitable tour hosts one could ask for. They made you feel like they were a couple of old friends showing you the best parts of their town. They had. A wealth of knowledge concerning food... More

We did the North Shore food tour with Matthew and Lynn, what a pair! So knowledgeable about food and the island. Matthew has had such a interesting life and an obvious love for food and people. This tour will take from the morning until late afternoon and you get a beautiful ride up the east coast of the island. The... More

We expected a good food tour of local Hawaiian food, unfortunately only a good tour of China Town plus a visit to Leonard's. I take food tours in every country and they are usually a great day out in food and hearing about the culture of the country. While very comfortable van and hosts great food tasted good but why... We have taken many foodie tours on our travels and enjoy the chance to sample a few places in a new town. This tour had an unusual name and we decided to give it a try. We definitely went to places out of the way and we got to eat like a local. To be real honest, if you knew... More

I know that my rating seems hyperbolic, but truly this was a delightful, unique experience. Daniel and Krystal pick you up at your Waikiki hotel or at the Ala Moana shopping center. (We were staying at Ko Olina resort villas on the west side, so that's where we met them.) The experience is very intimate, and you get the best... More

After 7 trips to Honolulu we discovered the Hawaii Food Tour. I signed up my two son's who love food and cooking for the tour. We had Mathew and Crystal as the guides and they were excellent, very personable and friendly. The description and history of the food we were eating provided a super background. We traveled around Chinatown sampling... More

Went on the Hole in the Wall tour in Honolulu led by Daniel and Joy. Got to sample lots of different foods (15) not on the usual tourist plate, but familiar to locals. We were picked up at our hotel, got a call to let us know traffic delayed them a little. Plenty of water and bathroom stops during the... More

This was our second time on the Hole In The Wall tour but we wanted to take our daughter. We love this tour, diverse food choices, time spent in Chinatown and Malasadas to finish. Our guides Joy and Jeremy were funny and full of information about Hawaii and it's food. It's a small group tour and you always have a... More
