Read about the falls and the hike before you go. Wear shoes that tie or fit well. Bug spray. Camera. Head out and take your time, watch your footing and you will be fine. We had rain off and on before we hiked and the trail was a little muddy, and puddles in some spots, but that is a good... More

Did the falls walk. Was a bit tiring and muddy, but it is a Rain forest environment. Amazing tall trees and greenery everywhere, The falls are amazing once you reach them. A must see.

The hike to the falls feels like walking through a rainforest. Spectacular views throughout and plenty of spots to take an off path diversion. With the intense tropical sun it is pleasant to walk this trail as the canopy cover provides shade. Make sure to include a hike to the falls during your Oahu visit!

The mountains of Oahu are truly magnificent. The lush green landscape was awesome. The waterfall at the end of the trail was most beautiful. The walk up was just gently rolling hills with views that would take your breath away. This is one splendid place to visit and see. It should be on everyone's to do list.

It is a tall waterfall, but don't expect a massive display of aquafury. The best part is in fact the journey through the thick Manoa forest to reach there. There is about 800m of elevation gain but the trail is long winded and quite refreshing.

Nice, short but challenging hike. Please don't wear flip flops, it's muddy in a lot of places. Bus #5 from Ala Moana Mall takes you to a residential terminus and a 15 minute walk to the trailhead. Same bus stop for return trip. Check times on The Bus website/app.

This is a short hike to a beutiful waterfall. It doesn't take long, won't take up your whole day, but you will be muddy and you definitely need mosquito spray. There is a pretty good chance you will get rained on so be prepared. There are a ton of hikes around there, you can even catch another hike from the... More

Scenery is just beautiful, great hike. Easy hike to do, my tip would be wear a old pair of shoes as its quite muddy and can be slippery in parts and wear bug spray. Trail does get busy but well worth it, enjoyed the hike. On the way back we stoped in at the restaurant and got a shaved ice,... More

This 3/4 mile trail is a lot steeper than I remember -- maybe I was more nimble twenty years ago. You park ($5) and then walk in the trail to the falls. A lot of it is uphill, not terribly steep but not exactly flat, either. A few places for a couple of yards the footing is a little tricky.... More
