The fall at the end is beautiful but not necessarily more beautiful than the walk up- it is gorgeous. We took our rain coats just in case, we were pretty lucky as it only sprinkled a little. The rain does make the trail a little slippery but still pretty easy to navigate in tennis shoes. On the way down a... More

This is a must do activity. The trek is not difficult, but can be a bit muddy and slippery in parts-so take a hiking stick and wear sensible shoes. The track to the falls can be a bit crowded in places, but there are plenty of places for photos. Spend some time doing this trek. It is worth it just... More

This place was beautiful!! It was a Great experience. Kids loved it. The hike is about a mile long. We had gone the day before but we didn't have hiking shoes. Next day we went in with tennis shoes. It was wet as it has rained the day before. So we had to hike carefully.

Went really early in the working, were there by 8, and avoided the hordes of schoolchildren that arrive around 0930 or so. The path up is well worn; however, is tricky in a number of places specially when wet. Not a spot to wear flip flops, goodsturdy shoes are a must. The waterfall is worth the trek.

Very peaceful. About 20-25 minute walk to fall. Lots of tropical plants and trees. One at the fall you are allowed to swim.

Great, easy hike. Not fully paved so be careful if it has rained recently but an easy uphill hike to a beautiful waterfall. At the waterfall you can venture left and find a pretty amazing tree.

The falls is great and worth a visit. DO BRING BUG SPRAY if you happen to be particularly tasty to mosquitos. But take the walk and see the falls.

This is a rather timid fall. We were there a day after the island received 8 inches of rain. Yet the waterfall seemed shy and unassuming. Nonetheless, it was beautiful, it was fun to swim in the pool underneath the fall and the hike as a little strenuous, but nothing our five year old niece couldn't handle.

With that said, it can be really muddy and slippery during rainy days. On the plus side, you will see better waterfall when it rains the day before (more water). Decent hike, decent length. Lots of people swim in the natural pool by the fall. We live in the area, and we just go here often. Can be a bit... More

Went on a solo hike myself on a Tuesday when my family & friends wanted to hang out at the shopping mall instead. Due to few rain storms passing through Oahu during my stay, I picked this hike to avoid other more challenging hikes. The hike was AMAZING!!! Upon arrival around 7AM, I was greeted by several wild white loud... More
