I rate this activity a 2 only because of the views from the top of the crater. The hike is 1.6 miles and gains 600 ft in elevation. The vast majority of the trail is narrow and uneven rocky ground where twisting an ankle is...More

A good walk up. Beautiful views from the top! Would recommend to anyone who is able to hike up hill and steps. Have comfortable hiking shoes, and take a bottle of water.

Amazing Views!! Do this!! It’s a pretty steep trip but worth the burn. Over all, it was a fun, exhilarating hike and I would do it again. Oh and only cost is $2

I would recommend going early so you miss the crowds and tour buses. There is a really nice hike to the top and the views are well worth it. There is a bunker to view along the way. Definitely a nice start to the day!

Stop and enjoy the beach view before heading up to the crater. The park is great for hiking and walking. It's amazing how you drive through a small tunnel to enter the inside of the crater. It cost $5 to park inside the crater. You...More

I did see kids with parents hiking Diamond Head. I did see people wearing shoes that is better worn at the shopping complex. To some it is a moderate hike, to some it is an easy hike. I guess just go if you happen to bring... More
