This was a fun shopping area to explore. There are some chain stores, but also many local stores. We found lots of gems in this shopping center that we had been looking for.

This gorgeous shopping precinct, complete with food court, restaurants and designer stores almost blends into the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The food court is small, clean and selective with just a handful of cuisines, open air and spacious. Buzzing with people at Island Vintage shaved ice.. plenty of seating in the shady palms at the middle area.

The centre extends to 3 floors and comprises a real mix of retailers and restaurants. The restaurants vary from a food court including Subway and Panda Express thru The Cheesecake Factory to fine dining in Wolfgangs Steakhouse. So something for everyone. The retailers are mainly upmarket and include The Apple Store. It has lovely open spaces throughout and especially at the rear where it leads to The Sheraton. It is very central on the main road In Waikiki. Well worth a visit.

The Royal Hawaiian Food Court is impeccably clean. In order to sit down and eat, you need proof of vaccination and/or negative Covid-19 test within the time period. The entire area is roped off.

Showed our vaccination card and received a SAFE ACCESS OAHU sticker to enter and exit. Two ladies were constantly wiping tables off. I watched them do the same table twice. All the food establishments were adhering to the Hawaiian Covid protocols.

Initially, I was not going to visit the Royal Hawaiian Center because I did not come to Hawaii to shop, but I’m so glad that I did. We first went there for a dinner reservation and this is when I realized there was more to it than just shopping. It’s a destination in itself. It’s even a fantastic place to people watch. I love that it’s open air.

Less exclusive than Ala Moana Center, , but more exclusive than International Market Place. Another thing there mixture of shops. Also the mall is very nice and pretty. Lastly, I would like to go back and dine at the food hall.

Lots of stores and restaurants! Enjoyed walking thru and shopping. It was good to stay out of the rain too! Food court is very crowded!

The shops are branded and they have a good food court where they check for vaccinations for sit in. The food court has a subway, panda, poke bowl, kulu kulu desserts and korakora ice cream. The kulu kulu has mini pastries and cream puffs that are amazing. Be careful as you can add on pounds easily in Hawaii with all the Dole softies and masaladas (fluffy donuts) 😂 there are poke places and curry cafe, burgers etc.

On my first night back in Waikiki after a two year absence, I happily visited the center. It was all decorated for the holidays, beautifully so. I grabbed a fresh cane juice and sour tangerine drink from a nearby vendor and watched a keiki hula school perform the dances of Maui. What a treat! I returned a few nights later to enjoy a Kelikimaka hula show with music and dancers. This is a wonderful spot to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Waikiki. I'll be back again!

This is the best mall in the city. The shops are on the high end but if you like window shopping and grabbing a quick bite, this is the best mall for that. It’s also beautiful with the perfect infusion on nature all around.
