Tons of hotels around so you can walk to it. Wasn't too crowded. You can rent beach loungers for $12 for the day as well as other things. No waves when we were there.

One of the world's most overrated beaches. It was crowded, narrow and surrounded by too much concrete. A should-go if you're in Honolulu but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

Thee's plenty of lovely white sand, the water is warm, the beach has a gradual slope that's not too steep, and the waves are gentle. All good, but you need to be OK with lots of people in and out of the water if you...More

Great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. Can be busy but worth getting a spot and staying there all day. Activities galore if you need them

Wear sunscreen. Sun is wonderful. Especially if you are from Illinois in the winter. Beach is beautiful. Lots of activities. Some can be costly. Nice to walk at night.

Phenomenal hotels, great restaurants, great night life, what more could you ask for in a world class destination.

The beach is a quick walk away from major hotels and apartments on Waikiki. The water is amazing and there are a multitude of fish swimming in it near the sea wall and the pier. Quite shallow and warm! A must do to catch the...More

Not sure if your trip is over, but we find the pool bar overlooking the ocean at the Westin Hotel is simply stunning. If you venture up to the north shore, the sunsets are spectacular .
