Waikiki is a beautiful beach and how can you go to Oahu and not visit it at least once? It's super busy but its a good place to sunbathe or swim. Lots of energy and sun! It's a good place to catch some rays:)

Very busy beach, with lots of high rise apartments and hotels. Parking is a problem, you need to validate your ticket to make it reasonable, as it is tied to the specific hotels. Not a problem if you are staying there of course Like any...More

We are loving it here. The water is turquoise blue closer to the beach, then it changes into a beautiful deeper blue. It's calm for the most part. The beach is awesome, clean, there are showers to wash off salt and sand off your body....More

This beach is love at first sight. Even though crowded with people and always buzzing, this is the place where you can enjoy the most too. Be careful though, the force of the water is too strong

Loved the vibe of Waikiki! Can't wait to return. Surf, swim, Sup and turtles! Great shopping too. See Duke. Sometimes you will see singers and hula dancers. I love a city where people walk around with surfboards! 🤙

The beach is popular, so go early. The rental companies offer a lot of options...surfing, paddle boarding, boogie boards, canoe rides, umbrellas, etc. The crew we rented from for 4 days were very nice.

Beautiful but narrow. Great views of Diamond Head as backdrop. But how do all those surfers manage to manoeuvre at all with so many people in the water?

The beach had lots of people on it. Its a nice walk. There are homeless people around and a little trash here and there.

Beach was close to Wakiki. Very nice beach. Crowd very orderly and disciplined. Hotel gave free chair and towel. Beach well maintained and nice sight.

I've been to Waikiki beach practically every summer since my early teens and I've never needed water/reef shoes. The sand isn't powder smooth, it feels a bit grainy, but it's not enough to cut/break skin. I've gone out... More
