Came here looking for souvenirs and good food and found it in the oldest China town in the us food was awesome and so was the shopping.

There's something strange about Chinatown in honolulu- most stores and restaurants are closed in early afternoon. That said, the cultural plaza has some restaurants open at night but you'd still gotta consider the fact that not a lot of people are around. Along the river...More

Chinatown was referred to as one of the top places to visit in Hawaii. It seemed very scary and dirty when we went, so we didn't stay very long. Don't waste your time.
