Amazing beach with great snorkeling reefs! Saw lots of really neat fish! There is a little beachside restaurant which has some great food for good prices as Well!

This was the worst beach we went to the entire time we were in Oahu. It's part of Waikiki Beach, but we heard it was the best snorkeling in that area. It was very rocky and the water was extremely cloudy and there were hardly any fish. Maybe we were just spoiled from the wonderful beaches and snorkeling we were able to enjoy in the North Shore. It was our last day so we wanted to stay local, but this beach was obviously not a good choice. I'm sure you can find a better spot on Waikiki Beach.

Family friendly beach with public bathrooms on the right of the beach. Parking on the streets are available, but scarce. Wonderful place to snorkel without going too far from shore. We saw 2 turtles while here and a plethora of fish.

Man this place was beautiful sun was shining and the beach was almost empty we went in February of course. That made a huge difference. However you need to understand that you have a responsibility to the people of the islands. To follow the rules, clean up after yourself, and do not go into off limits areas. You think you have right to go into these areas but those rules are in place to protect the land show respect and do not allow anyone in your party to go into off limit areas.

I always visit Sans Souci Beach Park when I come to Oahu. Less crowded than Waikiki Beach, very serene. Seems to be popular with locals.

We went to the beach to watch the sunset after a day at neighboring Kapioloni Park. It gave us a good view of the sun setting over the west Oahu mountains.

Another once quiet very small strand of sand, ruined by virtue seekers on social networks. IN less than 2 years, this formerly ignored spot has been overrun and ruined by hordes of visitors and notably - screaming children. And no wonder they are screaming: there are no restrooms or the reputed “snack bar” within a half mile walk so guess where the kiddies and many parents are peeing and pooing? In the sand, in the water, on the almost dead reef. What a great spot? Sans Souci used to mean “Without cares”. Now it means “no one cares” cause its overrun, overused and overhyped. Best to move on. Once again, social media has killed off a once quaint little spot. The newly imported, packed - and clean - sands at Waikiki Park are a better bet - restrooms, affordable food places within steps, less congested, less screaming children, cleaner water, sand and easy waves, not sharp reefs (not kidding at all ) Ugh. Sad.

Nice small beach close by Waikki. There is a lifeguard, bathroom (there but wouldn't recommend using them) and outdoor rinse stations here. We parked on the street (meter marking), there is lots of parking. We snorkeled here, there is a sand bar to the left of the beach (towards that flag pole but don't go that far out) and sometimes there are a few turtles here, I didn't see them but my husband did. There is a reef near the beach, careful it's really high and the waves crash over. I just kept to the front of the reef closer to the beach and saw some fish. There's also a large school of fish that hang out just off the beach too in the shallow water. The sand isn't as fine as on waikki beach but it's still beautiful. Lots of people came here to just swim laps too. We came here a few times during our visit.

Located in between Queen Beach and Kaimana Beach, this large grassy park has plenty of shade, toilet facilities and beautiful water views.

Great little beach just on the other side of the zoo from the main part of Waikiki beach. While certainly not undiscovered, the beach is definitely less crowded than those on the main Waikiki beach, and there is more of a local/family vibe. Sandy ocean floor and fairly shallow water makes for nice swimming, and there is a reef that starts around 20-30 yards out, extending across most of the beach, where you can see some nice fish. We snorkeled twice here, and one time was so-so, while the other was actually pretty decent— just depends on the waves/sediment factor. A Hawaiian monk seal had hauled out onto the beach the second morning we were here, so there’s a chance to see some wildlife.
