We were music theater subscribers for decades in San Francisco, and have also seen musical theater on Broadway, London, and elsewhere. All were obscenely expensive, but we paid because that was the only way to see them.

Today for the first time, we went to Diamond Head Theater, and watched Jesus Christ Superstar! Wonderful performance in a mid-sized theater with excellent acoustics.

And the seats were only $25, not the $400 we paid last time we visited Broadway!

This is going to be place we go to a lot in the future!

We had a group of 50 teachers and students that attended the production of Holiday Inn right before Christmas.

What a great way to expose our students to the arts and culture. Everyone had a great time!

If you're coming to Honolulu you should check DHT's schedule and if there is a performance on at the time I highly recommend getting some tickets before they are all gone.

We have never seen a bad show. The prices are very reasonable. The theatre itself makes you feel like you are seeing a show in the 1930's and there really isn't a bad seat in the place.

I truly is a very memorable experience that you will never forget!

DHT produces amazing shows with local music professionals/ teachers and community members who act, dance, sing with a LIVE orchestra! This is a valuable community resource! We always leave refreshed and glad that we’d come. Nice adds of refreshments for purchase at arrival and intermission and now dining before option at KCC make for a great evening. Free parking as well as nearby bus stop and bike lines. Well run house and box office. Program kindly honors donors.

DHT does six productions a year; that's all year round without a break and holds classes for seniors, adults, teens and kids. Tickets are affordable and every seat has great sightlines. If you're a Broadway buff, the production values and talent on offer are as good. You'll be tapping your feet and humming along.

We saw a great version of Calendar Girls here. The theatre is comfortable, easy to get in and out of and the line ups weren’t too bad for drinks and the bathroom at intermission. It is not one of the ornate theatres you’d see in broadway or large cities, but more akin to a small, community theatre. It is larger than I’d thought it was going to be but small enough that there are no bad seats.

My wife and I have enjoyed a few productions shown in this comfortable and personal venue. Excellent presentations with live music featuring local as well as premiere talent.

We recently experienced the play "All Shook Up" that highlight music made popular by Elvis. The way the music was intertwined within the story was amazing and entertaining. Although there was an interesting twist to the story (an example of political correctness within a skewed worldview) we had a good time.

Looking forward to planning future visits during the next Theatre season. If you haven't tried it you should as it's a fantastic experience and pleasure.

On one of our evening strolls in the Diamond Head area we came upon this most wonderful little theater. Inquiring about the shows, the little ladies at the ticket booth, in the true Aloha Spirit, invited us in for the dress rehearsal. What a treat and highlight of our stay in Honolulu. The show was excellent, funny, and the actors really worked hard to make the performance superb. Give it a try - you won't be sorry!

This theater is very small, but you can see everything! This theater is located near Diamond Head and Kapiolani Community Collage. Parking is no problem, you can park at KCC! Also, you can catch the bus.

Loved the theater and the show Promises Promises! Reasonably priced, great seats, and awesome production. We enjoyed immensely. Would definitely recommend.
Note: we lost a set of car keys there while visiting from Texas. The Box Office people were so friendly and helpful. Someone had turned them in...And we went by the next day to pick up.
