This was a wonderful experience! Sobering and heart felt. I highly recommend any one going to Honolulu to go to this memorial, take your children. It is great!

Arrived on Sunday morning (without a reservation) hoping to get a ticket. After an hour wait (we expected much longer) we were able to do the tour to the U.S.S. Arizona. This solemn location even quieted some fussy children (without parental intervention). This is a must stop for us (being retired military) each time we're in Honolulu

Truely a moving experience and a must visit. Lots of tourists so try to either get in early or late. Allow a full day and do the submarine as well.

Extremely meaningful visit to the remains of the USS Arizona! The film before you board the ship to shuttle over to memorial brought it into perspective!! The trip over was extremely well done, clean & quick & professional. The timing at the memorial was proper & monitored well to insure reverence!

Went here last year and am just now getting around to writing a review. Once you watch the film and get a feeling of why you are actually there, and the sacrifices made by those who are still laying below the monument forever entombed in the ships wreckage, it hits home. Men and women dying every day for our freedom.... More

This is a must on a trip to Hawaii, it is a memorial for all those entombed below & for those who died. Folk lore states that if you look into the oil that is still leaking from the ship that you can see faces. They have tried to stop the leaking oil but it keeps leeching out. A lovely... More

Boring tour except for video and boat ride to USS Arizona. Go on your own, it's free and if you want to pay to see the other museums you can choose to without waiting for around. To get free tickets you must get in advance

The museum and monument brilliant, surrounding information about submarines good but what the hell do these people think when it comes to organisation and food, we arrived on what was supposed to be an organised tour at 10.15, we became a little anxious when tour leader kept say we may get tickets, we may get out to monument, so we... My husband was first here while in the Navy in the 60's. We rushed to get here, we only had one day since we were heading out on a cruise the following day. We were happy we were able to experience this Memorial...very moving and sad. Oil still bubbling up from the Arizona..a beautiful memorial honoring our veterans. We took... More
