This National Monument is one of the most reverent and revered sites in America. No trip to Oahu, Hawaii is complete without a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial. The National Park Service and US Navy have combined to provide an incredible experience for all visitors. In addition to the visit to the memorial itself, the park has incredible audio-video... Sad to think so many people died. Daunting to remember the dead and to think so many people lost their lives.

Visiting the USS Arizona was a beautiful experience. One not to be missed! The video was very informative and the beautiful boat ride to the memorial was also lovely. It is nice to pay your respects as well.

This memorial is such an honor to visit. Sad and yet felt so honored to pay my respects to our fallen heroes.

We visited as part of an organised tour run by Discover Hawaii tours. There is a very informative and moving presentation followed by a ferry to the memorial which itself is a very sombre place due respect. It was moving and I would highly recommend if in the area you come and learn and pay respect to those who lost... More

If you go to Honolulu you need to see the history of the island and this is a must. I advise that you book this tour before you get there as lines can get quite long and tour buses do get priority.

This Memorial and its associated venues is a must-see for the reasons mentioned in earlier posts. As such, it gets VERY crowded. We found the best way to experience the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial was to go out on the first boat of the day leaving at 7:30 AM. This has two advantages: it beats the crowds, and, you are aboard... More

The feeling in this memorial is very hushed and subdued as you think of the hundreds of men still trapped in the ship beneath your feet. It was really cool hearing about the men that have recently been interred so that they could join their shipmates in their final resting place.

I really enjoyed my day at Pearl Harbour and the memorial was a special experience. I managed to book my ticket online when they went on sale the day before, this was the best option I felt as hadn't decided which day I wanted to go until I arrived on holiday. You simply can't visit Oahu without a trip here... More

This is a great memorial. Well organized, they only let a certain number of people on the ferry at one time which allows for an enjoyable visit to the memorial. The oil is still dripping from the ship and gives you chills to watch. You are required to get tickets prior to entrance. They are free but only give out... More
