It has a little bit of everything!

There are good restaurants, great shops and plenty of boats to look at! The variety offered makes it great for just about everyone!

Great stores and Resturants. Reminded me of a little fishing village. Stopped by the Black Pearl for lunch, omg the mussels are to die for. Service was excellent. Definitely a must .....see!

Bannister Wharf sits on the harbor and is a fun place for shopping of all types, dining and sailboat watching. Parking is challenging so a cab ride or Uber may be best unless you are on foot. For the best dining options, arrive early.

Great spot, super close to Bowen's Wharf, both of which have lots of bars, shops, and places to get some great seafood, especially a lobstah roll! Great people watching too!

I kind of see Bowen's Wharf And Bannister's Wharf as one entity, but if you have to separate them then Bowen's is definitely better. Do them both - you may as well as they are literally adjacent to each other.

Went with my husband and a friend. Loved walking around and checking out all the shops. It was a beautiful day to be in Newport.

Similar to Bowen's Wharf and right next door, this is the poorer brother to Bowen. Similar in nature to Bowen's, nothing here is quite a chic or fancy. Some shopping and some food but simply does not measure up to it's neighbor. After visiting Bowen's, pass through Bannister's as you continue along the waterfront.
