We're just tickled that you and your toddlers had a "fintastic" time with us during your visit (sorry, I couldn't help myself there)! And if you think the Exploration Center and Aquarium is a great place to spend an hour or two on a rainy day... just imagine the terrific (air conditioned) break it is from the hot sun on... More

My teen wanted to go in, because she loves aquariums. There was a lot of local information/displays. We loved the sting ray touch tank.

We have days of rain and not so good weather during our off season vacation stay. We decided to try this aquarium one of the days of rain. Not quite sure what it would be, we drove about an hour from near Boston and took a gamble on a visit to it. We were pleasantly surprised. Although it's not huge... More

Terrific place. Multiple floors for exploration. Kids are able to see so many different types of fish and other mammals while the adults lean some cool factoid. We spent about two hours there and felt we would have enjoyed more time without getting board. There is parking garage adjacent to the aquarium. There is a neat touch and feel area... More

There is a good mix of local creatures. This place is best for little ones as this isn't a big place but we had fun and it supports a good cause with Save the Bay running the program.

Thanks for stopping in with us! There's no better way to get up close and personal with critters that come right from our local waters. Did you happen to catch a glimpse of the big red Sea Hare? A fisherman brought him to us last week. Thanks for the shout-out to Save The Bay - Rhode Island's only environmental organization... More

A great local aquarium that my three year old loved. Yes it's small, but it kept us entertained with lots of touch tanks. It was a perfect break from the beach and fun to see local fish. The staff was great working with kids! We got a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free but even the normal price was... More

We took our 2.5 and 1 year olds to visit this aquarium. I was surprised by how small the facility was and how little was going on. It is just a bunch of fish tanks for the most part. The staff was very friendly and energetic. They seemed mostly knowledgeable about the subjects (except the woman at the shark tank-... More

My boyfriend and I came to Rhode Island specifically on the 3rd Thursday of the month so we could participate in the "Feeding Frenzy". We came earlier in the day and checked out all the exhibits. So sorry to hear we didn't meet your expectations.
