Went for sun and swimming. Got sun but no swimming due to low tide and murky, seaweed filled waters. Seaweed on beach began to stink after sun started cooking it. Pricey parking. On the upside, Paddle board rentals, lots of hermit crabs, minnows and other...More

We visited for several hours and found the beach relaxing with pretty views. We walked not realizing that the next beach was private and not Gooseberry. $20 to park.

White & fine sand beach. Parking was $25 the weekend and had a $5 walking fee but worth it. There's a shack and showers + bathrooms in the area

The beach is nice, good sand, there are no waves though and the beach is pretty much completely covered with red seaweed, about 15 feet onto the sand and about 15 feet into the water, past that is clearer on both ends. The kids like...More

If you don't like seaweed, do not come here. There is sea grass growing from the bottom and you have to walk through it to get into the water. It's so gross and there is too much wildlife lurking below. Really, so many fish swimming...More

The $20 parking fee probably keeps this beach a little more secluded than others. Beautiful sand and warm water. Lifeguards on duty. Bring your coolers, umbrellas, and chairs. Short walk from the parking lot, and concessions with bathrooms very handy.
