We went on this drive when hurricane Jose was passing through. Unfortunate the damage it was to other areas because in Newport it was beautiful with the large waves crashing over the rocks and spraying mist. Plus the warm winds were so unexpected but neat.
It was a beautiful drive by care, trolley or walking with maps and stops along the way at all mansions with tours along the way
