If you have time The Cliff Walk is a great way to see the cottages (open for tours, repurposed into institutions, and private) as well as the ocean. Fresh air, exercise and a view you can't get from the street. I gave this 4 stars...More

The cliff walk is approx 4 miles long. Beautiful mansion's and spectacular ocean views. The walk is always a little crowded in season. I love it on a nice late fall or winter day, then head back to town for some hot tasty chowder.

We didn't do the whole walk because we were heading home. It was very nice with a wide enough walkway that you didn't have to move over for people. Wish we had more time!

Yes you can access it from various points. Parking was a little challenging since we went on a Saturday in the summer but found side street parking within a reasonable distance of the starting point on Memorial Blvd.
