We went to visit during the winter with the Poinsetta's during Christmas. They had a really cute running mini train station. A lot of poinsetass and cactus but not much of other types of flowers. I would definiltey go back in the summer since the gardens are pretty large. There is a wonderful Wegmans Garden for the kids to learn... More

Visited the Botanical Gardens just a couple of days ago with my parents. As it is currently winter, none of the outdoor gardens were blooming. It is probably a totally different experience in the Spring / Summer / Fall. One of the large areas is under construction, so our visit only lasted about two hours. I would assume that when... More

For only 9$ we are allowed to see all the splendors of this amazing greenhouse. When we came, it was a week before Christmas, and we had a spectacular visit with lots of Christmas trees, decorations, ornaments. It’s quite intriguing to see Poinsettias with tropical plants and trees, as well as cacti. When our kids were still children, we visited... More

I was there for a wedding this summer, and the wedding planner did a great job while battling the whether and a bride that wanted something unrealistic. The food was dispersed throughout the display areas which seemed like a good way of dealing with the lack of open spaces for a medium-large wedding party in an indoor space clearly not... More

The Conservatory Gardens are beautiful; they're a series of 'rooms' with different plantings. The highlight for me was the succulent garden. The variety of cacti, aloe, jades, and more were outstanding. There was one plant that trailed along the display far past the pot it was planted in. The bonsai were great - it was fun seeing mums made into... More

I've been to the Botanical Gardens for exhibits, a wedding & an avian display that I was involved with. This place is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking foliage. The grounds & inside the glass dome are well taken care of. The staff is helpful & friendly. Each time I visit I am totally delighted & have gotten a few ideas for... More

Beautiful job.? So much to see and do. You can belong and volunteer. There is a club to belong to. Share ideas. Enjoy the beauty. A little clicky and maybe everyone has their own ideas if you belong to the club. Not sure of the competition or what it's all about. Have to research and meet some other members of... More

We had high hopes for the Botanical Gardens, however it didn't quite live up to expectations. Although what we did see was nice, there really wasn't too much going on there, this may be due to the renovations that were imminent at the time of our visit. I would possibly recommend waiting for these to be complete prior to visiting.

I took my time and walked through in about an hour and 1/2. One third of this is presently under renovation, but no discounts, though the senior fare was $8. Going up after the first of 2017! Gift shop at entry. Many lush, tropical plants. Some are HUGE! It's warm inside, so don't overdress. Humid. There's also an outdoor walk... More
