Easter weekend was not optimal, but worth the trip

This was our first time skiing at the Snowbowl and it exceeded our expectations. There is a great variety of trails, plenty of lifts, and incredible views. We can't wait to go back! How can you beat horseback riding in 90 degree weather one day and playing in the snow the next day?

Amazing that you can bike in Sedona one day and drive about an hour to get 2000' of vertical, and fresh powder the next. Ski conditions were amazing and Arizona Snowbowl had great, challenging, but not intimidating runs. What a deal they offered $40 for lift, rentals and a delicious lunch? Best deal going. Glad we packed our ski clothes.

Never having skied (kids never snowboarded) we decided to give it a try. The lesson gives the basics (my 18yo daughter you tubed it, didn't want to deal with group lesson). If you ask the staff provides the info for length and size equipment to use. Spring break (March n april) great time to go with price a fraction of... More

Once you arrive and park nothing is marked. Dry well as to where to go or what to do. We had to park in the first lot which really had no direction as to where to go. You basically walk right out onto the bunny hill. Food service was super slow. About a 15 minute line to get chicken nuggets.... More

I did not go there to ski. I went there to ride the "Scenic Chairlift". It was advertised as a ride to 11000 feet where you would be dropped off and a Forest Service specialist would talk about the flora and fauna. Having never been to a ski resort, it was very confusing. I could not find where to get... More

My family had the most amazing time at the Arizona Snowbowl! They have group and private lessons ranging from little kids and all the way to adults. You can ski on all different slope levels also. They have made it according to your comfort level. You can rent skis, helmets, boots, and poles. They have a gift shop where you... More

Nice drive up the mountain, beautiful terrain. We had a meal at ski lodge, was not fresh, maybe a new menu perhaps, healthier.
