Educational information of the area with information from dinosaurs, geology, Indian history and many artifacts on display. Enjoyed the time spent there and liked seeing the old Kachina dolls, basketry, jewelry and pottery on display.

Not all of the exhibits were available in May 2017. In fact, guests need to enter via the bak door for the time-being. The charge of $12/person hadn't be reduced despite so much of the offerings being off limits.

Had a few hours to kill and my wife wanted to try this place. I was not that keen but ended up really learning a lot about local culture and the people who live here

We only had 75 minutes to tour and we made the most of it. There are different interests here that should fulfill every interest. A section on ancient history, pottery, dolls, geology, zoology, and evolotion. I had to read one display twice before I realized...More

A small but good museum that does an important service to the area. The geology section is dated although the larger cultural sections are more interesting and newer. The shop, which operates on consignment, has some interesting baskets.

A friend suggested we visit this Museum. It is terrific. There is work being done on the interior but it really did not interrupt our touring. So many interesting facts on the ancient people who lived in the area being thousands of years ago. Lovely...More

This is a pearl in the crown of Flagstaff. Located a short drive from the center, it has a marvelous collection of artifacts and displays relating to the Colorado Plateau. It was a delight to visit a place that was not restricted by state boundaries....More

This is a museum with mostly Native American artist and really worth the visit if you are in the area. Downtown Flagstaff area has a wide assortment of great food establishments to eat at before or after visiting the museum
