If you love old history and looking at buildings from long ago, this is awesome. They have a school building, general store, church, local family dwellings, blacksmith, and tractor barn. We went while they didn't have the buildings open (look inside) but were able to walk around. They had signs saying that you could use the sites for events and... More

Cannonsburgh Village was a self guided tour into the past. A very interesting look back on the history of our area. They have different buildings to look through, filled with history on what life was like.

Unfortunately we went on Columbus Day and the buildings were closed. Don't quite understand why they would close when alot of people are off but oh well. We were able to see the outside of the buildings and will definitely try to make it back to see the interiors and hear some history. One complaint, we were walking around with... More

Cannonsubrgh Village is CLOSED on Mondays; not because it was Columbus day. The grounds are open year round with weather permitting. The maintenance department comes around at dust and locks all of the parks; I apology if he/she was rude by not speaking or letting you know they were locking up. We are in the process of posting signs that... More

We wanted something to do on a fall day. So we headed to the square and there was nothing going on there. Thus we headed to Cannonsburgh. Very interesting place. You must go and see this.

We stopped by here last minute on a road trip. Guide was self guided and free! Walked around and looked at all the buildings and old tractors. Everything was neat. I am a teacher and thought my class would of loved it. If i went back I would go during a special activity like pioneer days ect.

This is a great representation of a traditional town from the 1800s. The buildings include a grist mill, blacksmith shop, doctor's office, school house, community building, gift shop and a small church. The church is available as a wedding venue, by appointment. VERY NICE!! We loved it for our wedding ceremony.

Just a little village area with a small gift shop. You are your own tour guide and it cost nothing, you have the option of putting a donation in to the donation box as that's how it's funded. You also go at your own pace. Nice picnic area that you can rent in advance. A lot of history here and... More

The entire family loves this place. There is something for everyone. The train, the huge bucket, the tractors, and history behind this place is so educational. It connects to the Greenway so you can even go on a nice walk after touring the property.

We were here early on a Saturday morning. It is a nice place for a morning walk. Probably a good place to take school kids but the displays lacked information for the most part. I applaud the efforts of the volunteers but no craftspeople or demonstrations going on. Not a place I would make a second trip to.
