My husband and I have a Dr Seuss room for our grandchildren since 1999 so seeing the display brings another dimension of art to our display. We intend to return to Springfield when the Museum opens in 2017 which will compliment the sculpture garden.

Outdoor experience, free of cost, always enjoyable. Bring little ones with you and watch the awe on their faces. Bring a Dr. Seuss book to read out loud to your kiddos and be surrounded by others attracted to the rhythmic lines lines we grew up on. Visit the characters. Chase pigeons. Pop into the City Library for a taste of... More

It takes no more than an hour to see these charming sculptures and learn a bit more about Dr. Seuss. The garden is also surrounded by museums making for a very engaging day in Springfield.

If you grew up reading Dr. Seuss stories and read them to your children and grandchildren, I think you would enjoy these sculptures. All the characters are depicted as well as the artist at his desk writing. Granted, there is not much to this, but it is very well done. We were in the area and I was so glad... More

All the city looks a little run down, this sculpture garden is a must stop for any fan of Dr. Seuss, it is spread out between the buildings of the museums and we had a bonus surprise when we went in Sept, they are dedicating an entire building to Dr. Seuss to be opening in Spring 2017
