This was the main reason we came to Springfield! We came to see the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden. The sculptures were very nice, the only complaint that I have is that there weren't any Sneech Statues! They are my favorite Seuss characters!

After visiting the amazing world of Dr. Seuss, don’t forget to visit this memorial sculpture garden right across the yard. Once again you will be amused by those famous characters from Dr. Seuss’ characters. Again say hi to Cat in the Hat, the grinch, Horton,...More

It was fun to wander through the statues and visit with old Dr. Seuss friends. Would love to revisit with more time.

What an amazing place. The museum was colorful and had a lot of interactive exhibits for children and a lot of information for adults. It is easy to find but the parking is not the greatest they do have a free lot but get there...More

What a lovely sculpture garden in the midst of hard-hit Springfield. As a Dr. Seuss fan from childhood, it was fun to see my picture-book icons brought to live.

We were thrilled when we heard that there was a new Seuss museum in Springfield. It's VERY kid focused, and kid friendly. The rooms are bright and invited for children to explore. There are LOTS of photo ops. As adults visiting without children, there were...More

This small courtyard filled with oversized sculptures invites kids to climb and play on arches, benches, and bridges. As others have pointed out, you can quickly wander into some very rough neighborhoods. However, the sculpture garden and surrounding museum complex are clean and seem safe....More

I am not too familiar with Dr. Seuss, but the sculptures seemed to draw a lot of kids. Nice walkways around.

Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden is just a small scale place. Don't think of taking a bus or train and walk there because you will walk through dangerous neighborhood. Not recommended to walk into this area after 6 pm.

Affordable weekend activity for young kids. Free for Springfield residents. They have tons of fun and they're learning at the same time win win!

There is a gift shop in the Information/Visitor Center. This building is also the Science Museum and where you get tickets. The gift shop is large and has lots of Seuss items from books to leggings, as well as other... More

We were there in October of last year, so there were plenty of parking spaces that is right there. There are some on the streets, too.

I think they would love it if they know the characters from the books! However, I don't think it would be worth the 2 hour drive just for the garden.
