The Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden has been a must-stop destination on every single one of our Roadtrips through Massachusetts for years. We never miss an opportunity to visit, and take photos with some of our favourite characters from the beloved books of Dr...More

This is one of my favorite places to take out of town visitors since it is a free attraction. My favorite part is to sit in a sculpted chair in front of the book, "Oh, the places you'll see", written in its entirety. I also...More

Visitors pay one fee for five museums + the garden. And even if you aren't a huge Dr. Seuss fan (he was born in Springfield), it's fun to browse the Sculpture Garden after going to your choice of the two art museums, the history museum...More

Cool sculptures with classic Dr. Seuss characters. When we went we were not allowed to touch the sculptures, which was a little bit disappointing. It's a peaceful place surrounded by 4 museums.

I found it to be a bit expensive, but if you're a fan, it's worth a stop. Probably would be more fun for those with younger children, but my 16 year old and I enjoyed it given that we read lots of Dr. Seuss when...More

Wonderfully executed sculptures, probably artistically better than the horrific illustrations in Dr. Seuss' books. The odd thing is that it's hidden away from view from the streets, so you can't see them while driving by and for out of town folks, you are not sure...More

We were there in October of last year, so there were plenty of parking spaces that is right there. There are some on the streets, too.

I think they would love it if they know the characters from the books! However, I don't think it would be worth the 2 hour drive just for the garden.
