The trees in this park are amazing. This one tree is small in comparison to some of the other trees in the park, but it is a great tree to visit & try to get in a camera shot all @ once.

This is an impressive tree, old and majestic. Easy to reach, also for people who are not used to walk in the woods

Absolutely love Giant Sequoia and this one is a beauty. It is the third biggest tree in the world, by volume (behind Sherman and Grant). What is wonderful about this one is that you can stand next to it, which you can't with the other two, making this one very special. What is also good about it is the clearing around it - you can get a good, open view of the scale of these magnificent trees. Also took the opportunity to pose my novel with it, seeing as these trees inspired the location for my story. It was, as always with these trees, a humbling and uplifting visit. Hope you make that connection too.

This is one massive tree that cannot not be missed. The large base and its knuckles are just astounding and the growth is to be recognized.

This tree is part of the Congress Trail and not to be missed. You realize how very small you are when you get up close.

We have seen photos, we read descriptions as well as heard stories but only when we stood in front of this gigantic tree did we realize how small we are versus mother nature.
