This is a nice trail. Maybe not for beginner but not too difficult either and you can just take your time. This one is a hike for the family and the waterfall is nice but don't expect something big like in Hawaii :-)

After reading the previous reviews we ventured to try this trail, it is a beautiful area! But this isn't a beginner trail and the trail isn't level. There is very minimal shade. There is constant hills up and down. Even going down you have to...More

My wife and I read about this hike and decided to try it before we went to Santa Barbara County for wine tasting. It was around 10:30 AM when we started, but I would suggest starting the hike around 9:00 AM to beat the heat....More

The hike to Paradise Falls is great because it's not too challenging or tiring but it's a fun hike and the view once you get to the falls is just gorgeous

Avoid on weekends, holidays and hot days. 30 years ago I rated this park and waterfall excellent. It has become, over the years, very popular so the outdoor experience is blemished by the crowds.

This is a great workout and hike. It gets very hot as there is not much shade around. Gets crowded on the weekends. I have always found water at the falls, but in the winter it's really great. There is a smell to the water,...More

We had a lovely time hiking. However it was really busy with people from LA. Car were driving fast on the hiking road. The falls were okay, but a bit busy for my liking. It would be nice if there were more maps out where...More

We came after a particularly wet winter and the falls were in full flow. It's kind of tucked away on a decent hike (but it is worth the effort.

Wildwood gets pretty crowded on the weekends and pretty hot in the summer, since there isn't much shade on several of the trails. But it still is a great hike, especially a social hike, in the fall and spring.

In the middle of suburbia not what anticipated. Although I have been many times the relatively easy walk to see rushing falling water is always a pleasurse. Accesabile from several different trails I recoomend trying them all. Enjoy.

If it is a sturdy stoller. I wouldn't try it with an umbrella stroller. It's a decently maintained trail and not too bumpy, but it's still a hiking trail. I did Paradise Falls and Lizard Rock, and meandered over a couple... More

Unfortunately, no. You can probably make it about 1/2 way then the trail won't work. The easy part can even get slippery from the dirt over rock.
