There are statues all around the exterior of the grounds, and inside...amazing art of all types on three floors. Free to all! It's a not to miss when in the capitol city.

Very interesting as a state capitol, and there is also a lot of wonderful art throughout the building.

Very impressive design, beautiful interior, decorated with over 650 pieces of art by local artists, valued at over $5 mil. Saw students conducting mock sessions in both the House and Senate chambers - interesting to watch from the upper chambers. Don't miss the buffalo head...More

Great place to educate kids about the State Government. Located downtown. Nice to visit to appreciate where local and state Government meet.

We have visited Santa Fe numerous times but this time we wanted to visit the Roundhouse. The assembly areas for the legislators were "over the top" for a venue that is only used 30 days annually. We have visited many state capitol buildings but this...More

This was a nice capital. It definitely has to be one of, if not the, friendliest and easiest to visit in the U.S. I like the fabric art. I am not sure how people were able to craft what look like paintings from fabric. The...More

We stopped by for a self-guided tour. The staff we met were very friendly without exception. The day we were there it was quiet and not much going on. We were able to go into the chambers. This is well worth the time to explore.

I did not notice wheel chairs. There are adequate elevators and east access to the chamber so limited walking is required and no stairs to climb.

The best parking is across the street from the round house, I believe that is Galisteo street. That way you won't have to worry about feeding a meter. Enjoy your trip and Welcome to Santa Fe!
