Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

The pools are fun and the restaurant excellent, but the main reason we come is the excellent message options. Four people were in our group. We went to the tubs first, then each chose a different spa treatment and each came out saying we thought...More

Beautiful Japanese Bath in the hills above Santa Fe. Been there twice, can't wait to go back. Quiet, peaceful setting to soak in one of their many private baths or the community bath.

10,000 Waves is a unique experience. Two couples and we reserved the private Waterfall spa, which has a hot tub big enough for ten folks, a cold plunge (you have to try it!) and a sauna for five or so. We reserved for 1 1/2...More

I believe all ages are allowed and as some have already answered if your child is well behaved and you are in a private tub then everything should be fine, if you are in a community tub you may want to use discretion as to... More

Is there a way to enter the place and/or Spa without climbing those steps. Maybe parking on the higher level?

Of course. You can park on the upper level or use any of the call boxes in the lower lots to request a shuttle.
