Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

What an amazing place. There is lodging but if you are just coming in for treatment, you can stay the whole day soaking in the tubs, soaking your feet and getting treatments. Very peaceful and relaxing! Zen at its best!!

No matter the establishment, it's all about the people. This place is totally serene, and amazing. But, what puts it over the top are the people who work here. From Elizabeth at the front office, who went out of her way to accommodate my needs...More

Its nice but Their competetor to the North is more of a NM. Experience. I like to rent the Oufuro (sp) room for at least two hours as it probides all the best and privacy. I recommend TTWaves right after a day's hike or skiing.
