Overview
More
Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

The Japanese styled facility is nicely designed with wonderful amenities. Our hotel room came with a heated bathroom floor and a modern Japanese water closet with controls that spoiled my wife and I. They provide granola which was delicious, fruit and special coffee. The rooms...More

This is a spa like few others. Every detail is a treat for the mind and spirit and senses. Hot Rock Massage is my absolute favorite (I skip the cold rocks). Love sitting in the foot bath. Love the private tubs (even in the cold...More

This wonderful spa is located a short drive outside of Santa Fe. It is up on a hill - there are about 91 steps from the parking lot to the front desk. (There is an elevator entrance for those who cannot make those steps.) This...More

We had a private hot tub as a group - really enjoyed it. Came with a cold dunking pool with a waterfall, and a very hot sauna. Keep in mind the altitude and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. They should do a better job of warning folks...More

A lovely afternoon walking around in a kimono robe, steaming in the hot tubs and enjoying the spa were a great way to spend time. We enjoyed several spa treatments such as 80 minute massages from the "masters" as well as hot oil head and...More

One of the most luxurious experiences I've had in a long time! The rooms are each unique, with Japanese styling, tucked into the trees. Beautiful amenities in each room such as organic coffee, fruits, granolas. We felt so pampered! We also indulged in a massage...More

Ten Thousand Waves has experienced masseuses. I always book at least a Masters Massage when in Santa Fe. I have had, and can recommend, their Hot Stone Massage, the Aqua Massage, and if you really want an amazing experience, try the Two Hearts Four Hands...More

Let me begin by saying we love Santa Fe, and we enjoy trying new spas and hot springs. The drive to Ten Thousand Waves and the setting all seemed very promising, but the minute we got inside, the actual spa was chaos! The spa itself...More

Half an hour of hot tub time and two 1.5 hours massages set us back $500.00. It simply was not the mountain top experience I was hoping for, especially at this price. Yes, I am sure the regulars love it, and could care less about...More
