Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

My wife and I went to 10000 waves on the advice of a friend who lives in Santa Fe. The massage, and the facilities were very relaxing. We had lunch at the Japanese restaurant on site because we didn't want to leave. It was a real treat!

If you are looking for a unique spa experience this is it! On the way to the ski basin on the left you will find the spa and restaurant. We spent the day there in the private hot tub, massage and dinner at the amazing traditional Japanese restaurant. No sushi here. I was disappointed at the start but the chef's... More

Ten Thousand Waves is isolated and offers lot's of seasonal opportunities to ski , skate and more. Our visit was just an overnight for a couples massage and private hot tub experience. The check in center for treatments is very busy & a bit rushed. The massages were very good but not the best ever, maybe based on volume. The facility... More

I recently enjoyed an eighty-minute massage at Ten Thousand Waves and, if you enjoy a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to go. Professional service with a friendly staff and many other positives. There is now a restaurant that has opened ( which I have not tried but friends have and enjoyed) and lodging is available. I try... More

I am not a spa type of a person but I have enjoyed some outdoor soaks in the winter in Canada so I was open to trying Ten Thousand Waves on a very cold but very sunny day in November. Our bill was $52 for just two basic "women's baths." It is nice that robes, slippers, towels, shower toiletries and... More

Easy to get appointment for a massage. Great experience, my massage was wonderful.....she covered areas of concern that I mentioned. Foot soak was enjoyable too! Will go back every time I make it to Santa Fe.

For a place to pamper, special occasion, splurge, and seek total relaxation, look no further. My boyfriend treated me to a spa package that included private outdoor hot tub (they literally lock the gate so no one can get in) and a massage with salt glow. From the moment you step inside and check in, you change and can spend... More

A great place for a soak in a lovely location and with very friendly staff. We just used the communal pool but that was still great.

Stopped in for an afternoon soak. Overall nice experience but a little crowded when I first got there at 4. Around 6 it seemed to get much quieter and less crowded. Would go after 6 next visit!

During my wonderful stay at Santa Fe - lovely Rosewood hotel, fantastic Shiprock gallery etc - had this spa on my Santa Fe to do list. Prebooked a table at the restaurant and walked in for an access at the spa. "Welcome" at the spa by the front desk lady was so terrible that I cancelled immediately all my plans... More
