Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

Funny you should mention it--Floating World is the name of the retail store at Ten Thousand Waves and the importer of the great unpasteurized sake at our restaurant, izanami!

More often than not I've had some really good treatments at the spa that have been well worth the money. But my most recent massage was by far the most exceptional I have ever had. The new therapist Orejona has the most healing, nurturing and...More

My answer would be that they would welcome all spa appointments even if you are not staying at the Ten Thousand Waves Hotel facility. Call them to set something up I believe they will be helpful.
