The falls are so pretty, although not what I was expecting. I am 8 months pregnant so we elected not to take the lower trail through the water. The upper trail is a short hike straight up, I took breaks but made it just fine!...More

There is a $15 entrance fee to this area per car, it is worth the price as the area is nicely maintained. We chose the upper waterfalls trail as we did not want to walk through the stream to view the waterfalls. The trail is...More

Nambe Falls. What can I say? Absolutely breathtaking. But here’s the deal. Your level of appreciation for this location will be completely different, depending on how you explore it. I took the lower falls trail, to the base of the falls. It’s a nice little...More

The Nambe Falls hike is short. Take the "low route" that follows the stream and you'll see beautiful scenery...and get your feet wet. There's a couple of places where you must walk in the stream. The rocks are not slippery and the water felt great...More

Very beautiful waterfalls. I suggest water shoes. I highly recommend even if you take small children.

I saw a recommendation for Nambe Falls at our VRBO and was intrigued by the idea of a waterfall in such an arid location. My husband and I drove to the park and were greeted by a very friendly park ranger, who made sure we...More

The overlook route to the falls is a good climb and not worth it. We should have walked along the stream and risked getting wet. This might make the trip worth while. $15 is too much for this one!

Driving on the backroads, we ran into a sign about the Nambe Falls. We drove into a long dusty drive and at the end was a park attendant. We weren't sure what we were getting into and for $15.00 we weren't sure if we should...More

No they aren't. Most of this area is not allowing camp fires and a lot if the Park areas are completely closed. Check before you go.
