About
Paseo Pottery is a pottery-powered charity embracing a radical form of conscious capitalism: cover costs, then donate the rest to improve society. 100% of net proceeds from our pottery experiences are donated to local charities each year, as selected by our customers, and we’ve donated over $48,000 thus far! Come take a class with local artists or stock up on handmade pottery and one-of-a-kind pieces of ceramic art in our online gallery. Thanks to HBO Max, JauntTV, Santa Fe New Mexican, Radio Free Santa Fe, The Santa Fe Reporter, The Richard Eeds Show, Generation Next, and New Mexico Magazine for their recent coverage of Paseo Pottery, our classes, and our charitable mission!

Positive, enjoyable, and instructive. The instructor demonstrated and then assisted each with individual instruction. Fun to wander through the gallery for ideas and product. The instructor finished my two pieces of greenware - trimmed, bisqued, glazed, fired, and shipped to me two months later. All in all a positive experience.

What a great, nonprofit org! I had a fun, first time ever using a pottery wheel. It was a small group of folks and we worked outside, which was a great way to do a semi-social activity while staying being cautious of COVID safety. The teacher gave all of us students a lot of 1:1 time. We were able to make as many pieces as we wanted during our allotted time and then chose 2 of those pieces to get fired and glazed with a finish of our choice. Overall, this was such a pleasant experience and made me want to continue pottery making!

My friends and I had a long awaited great time at Paseo Pottery in Santa Fe. Angela the owner is so warm and kind. Christopher our teacher of the clay throwing class was so helpful to all of us. As complete amateurs we attempted to create our pottery masterpieces with Christopher's help and guidance throughout our 2 hour session. He was delightful and most patient as we struggled along. I would highly recommend Paseo if you're looking for a a little fun and a relaxing time to check out your personal creativity. Either way I'm sure if you stick with them you will eventually create some wonderful pieces! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

The shop has some beautiful pieces made by local artists. It’s worth a visit to find beautiful, one of a kind ceramics.

We took a wheel class. It was so fun and informative. We got lots of time after our lesson to play and experiment with what we learned. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it. Our instructor was super friendly and infinitely helpful.

On top of all of that, Paseo donates their profits to charities that you, the customer, gets input on choosing. It’s a really special place.

Perfect afternoon spent in Santa Fe for two first time potters. Sherry, our instructor, was not only helpful but fun as well. You have two full hours to perfect your masterpieces, and the opportunity to ship two of them home for $15 once they were glazed etc. Class price includes a beverage or two of your choice as well.
The best part is that net proceeds of your class (already a very reasonable price) go to charity! You have the opportunity to select which one you would like your money to go to, a nice touch.
Also the store itself has a lot of great pots, plates, etc. available for purchase. So even if you don't do a class, it's a good place to stop into. Highly recommend Paseo!

My sister and I took the pottery class in January. We had a blast! The teacher explained the process very well and we enjoyed every minute of the class. All the glazes were beautiful and it was hard to pick which ones to use. We each were able to make two bowls. This class was amazing and recommend it to anyone!

I came with my daughter in law and the girlfrends of my other 2 sons. It was such a fun time for all ages and we felt very comfortable being outside and social distanced from others. Such a fun introduction to a wonderful art form I've admired for years! Loved the instruction and hands on opportunity. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and looked forward to receiving out creations. They arrived in a very timely manner and will continue to be fun reminders of our time together! We also loved the mission of the business and giving back to the community.

We expected to learn how to throw a bowl or pot. And we did. The teacher was excellent - patient and knowledgable. We did not anticipate learning about clay and about how to correct mistakes. Geat! We also did not anticipate how friendly the folks were and the glass fo wine was just perfect. Thanks fo a fun evening.

Great class! The instruction was so informative and then you get straight to it. Lots of laughs and our teacher was so lovely. She gave great tips as we all worked to keep our clay under control. I think everyone was able to make several "keepers". Super excited to pick up my pieces today!

Fun afternoon for the two of us - met so many fun people in our class (families, couples, singles). Christopher and Sherrie were great teachers, demonstrating and helping when needed. LOVE that our fee goes to CHARITY! Can't wait to receive our pieces.
