This is a wonderful little museum. I absolutely loved the guitar exhibit and the tribute to Shakespeare's First Folio, even though it truly is all Greek to me. Check out the events calendar, as this museum tends to various free events in its adjoining auditorium. We had the pleasure of seeing a local orchestra performance that was part of the... More

The exhibits were rather small, though well put together. However, they do have a really fun guitar exhibit being display right now. Check out the "Crossroads" guitar!

I just saw the Museum's First Folio exhibit, and while the folio is wonderful, what they did with it was as wonderful. The folio was surrounded with paintings, pastels and drawings of various theater scenes, many of them of Native rituals festivals and dances. Make all performance, even if not theater, connect, because it does.

Had been here before, and would go again any time. In particular love the small sculpture garden. However this time there was a fabulous exhibition of the history of guitar, with a wonderful line up of electric guitars and good explanations of why they are duds or icons. Also a small number of excellent photos showing Keith Richards, Bonnie Raitt,... More

Lots of beautiful New Mexico art presented in a hushed and spacious setting. Really fascinating exhibits including some Georgia O'Keefe paintings and memorabilia.

We visited the exhibit twice before it left the area and found it to be an exceptional collection of work from Georgia O'Keefe's works and that of others. The selected works were some that I'd never seen in person and it was truly a pleasure to spend time viewing the works.

There are so many things to do and see in Santa Fe, but this is worth a visit for art and history lovers. It's an interesting collection and it's not overwhelming. There are some O'Keeffes here, too.

The New Mexico Museum of Art has a good variety of works from artists who flocked to New Mexico like Gustave Baumann, as well as other exhibits like American Modernism. We had a docent led tour from a former art teacher which was excellent.

We went to a very interesting Georgia O'Keefe exhibit that helped to tie her work to the environment in which she lived. It was not a huge exhibit but we learned alot. It is worth noting the interesting architecture of the building itself. The museum gift shop is a great place to purchase gifts. I brought home handpainted bookmarks by... More
