Apart from the building itself and a few paintings, you'd better avoid it as there's nothing much to see... Unfortunately some of the paintings we wanted to see weren't on display. Go instead to Georgia O'Keeffe Museum which is, in my opinion, far more interesting.

We loved this - especially our teen daughters. It's housed in a beautiful old building, 100 yrs old next year and is small, calm and cool - perfect for a break from the heat AND has some wonderful exhibits. $12 admission for adults, kids go...More

Tired of museums full of art mostly by white men? This museum is just the refreshment you need. There were intriguing and varied exhibits when we went: art inspired by lowrider culture, a focus on self-portraits, a retrospective of photography by local New Mexican photographer...More

The museum has a very fine collection of early Santa Fe/Taos artists plus current showings of local artists. Well worth the visit!

Good exhibit of New Mexican artists. It was free to my family on a Friday evening at a certain time of year. There was also live music when we went which was a nice addition.

Very poor collection. Exceptional venue with very little art in it. Best part is exhibit where you design your own textile patterns. Aside from that, not worth a visit.

If you visit Santa Fe, then of course you must go to the Museum of Art. I would not miss it. It is always a special place to see what art is being exhibited.
