This museum is located diagonally across from the town square, really easy to get to. The art is very neat. When I visited a British Museum exhibition was there with works by artists such as Michelangelo, and Picasso, great place!

"Lines of Thought" is probably one of the top 5 exhibitions anywhere in the world at the current time. If this show had been shown at the Met in NYC, it would have required tickets and also limited people. It would have been crowded and...More

The New Mexico Museum of Art, the oldest art gallery in the State, is located next to the historic Plaza, so it is easy to find. It was built in 1917 in what is called the Pueblo Revised Style, which synthesises old North American Indian...More

A little disappointed that several sections were closed or being updated while we were there. Kind of feel like it was way too expensive for what we saw. Did the whole thing in 20 minutes.

We went into the Museum expecting a large collection of art but were surprised to find a smaller collection and mostly all Southwestern art. I guess we were hoping for something a bit more universal, but considering where we were, Southwestern was appropriate. We did...More

The best part of this museum is the building. The art is mostly not very interesting with the exception of the first and main gallery.

The architecture of the building is beautiful. The art collection inside includes a beautiful patio filled with sculptures. Worth the visit.

Very disappointing - both the Georgia O'Keefe and Gustav Baumann collections were out on loan. Its unforgivable that their two big draws would be out at the same time. It is particularly unfortunate or those of us just passing through town as we are not...More

The building is very interesting and worth seeing. The collection has more curiosity value than anything else, but special exhibits are often very good. We saw a show of works by Cady Wells, an interested New Mexico artist we knew nothing about.
