The massage cost more per hour than I am used to, but hey, Santa Fe is the spa capital of the Southwest, so it's not that surprising. My massage therapist and those of the two people who came with me were all wonderful, and used a couple different techniques than I had had before with previous massages. Apparently, there are... While visiting Santa Fe last weekend, I was looking for a place to have a hot stone massage. Found this great place online and was so pleased with the experience. It was a very safe and easy walk from my downtown hotel. The facility was relaxing and well appointed. The therapist that did my massage was very well-trained, knowledgeable and... More

I received a great deep tissue massage for the price. The room was bright and the floors would creek in the room and throughout the building. So while you are receiving your massage you could hear people walking in the hall. It is located on the corner of an intersection, so you could also hear the traffic during your massage.... More

A friend kept urging me to go to 10,000 Waves but as a busy tourist I just wanted a good massage in town. I remembered High Desert from when it was on Palace Street and tracked it down to its current location. It's even nicer now. Luckily I was assigned the massage therapist Catherine. What a lovely person and a... More

This place is less expensive than the big spas @ has local clientele. One of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. Charlotte real knows her stuff!

We have been looking for a high quality, affordable massage place ever since arriving in Santa Fe a few months ago. The quest continues! This place has a nice, almost hippy vibe to it, but we were both disappointed in our therapists. They delivered very mild deep tissue massages, despite the person that booked us telling us that she put... More

Prior to booking a massage at High Desert, I checked out the competition in downtown Santa Fe. I receive massages periodically throughout the year, so I have a fair idea of the cost. Prior to looking, I was told that most anything downtown Santa Fe was going to be "on the expensive side". At @ $125/$135 per hour, plus tip,... More

My husband and I were visiting Santa Fe after driving cross country for many days...we were in need of a good relaxing massage. High Desert Healthcare & Massage was able to fit us in the very next morning. Diane and Ellen were just what we needed to work out the neck, shoulder, and lower back aches and pains. One of... More
