Beautiful chapel with fasinating history.

I had seen this chapel and its mysterious staircase and its carpenter. It was exciting to finally see it in person. Honestly, this is one of the few things I took the time to do in Sant Fe proper, I spent far more time in National Parks and historic sites outside town as I love nature. This, however, was worth... This is a pretty chapel. It has some beautiful statutes of the holy family. The staircase and the miracle of it were very interesting

Great stop on our tour of Santa Fe! The kids enjoyed it and so did my wife and I. A gentleman inside gave us just loads of information on the chapel and some other words of wisdom. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Even the kids learned a few things.

To understand the miracle that you are viewing is simply inspiring. The staircase is so beautiful and truly brought tears to my eyes as I reflected on the entire miracle. The altar is gorgeous. The gift shop has a nice selection and the staff is very helpful/friendly. This stop is a must - if you do nothing else.

$3 admission. Worth it. Small, but gorgeous chapel with beautiful Stations of the Cross, alter, rose window and the famous spiral staircase made only out of wood by a mysterious carpenter. You cannot go on the staircase, of course, but lovely just the same. Great little gift shop.

The spiral staircase is spellbinding, an intricate work of art. Some will say miracle, that is for you to decide. The whole chapel is beautiful.

The chapel is small, although not lacking in beauty. There is a small gift shop where you can find a nice array of Santa Fe souvenirs. The only thing that is difficult is because it's a small chapel, in the summer especially it can get over run with tourists. Other than that, it's beautiful and very central in downtown Santa... This Chapel is just beautiful. Tiny but impressive. The mystery of the spiral staircase is intriguing, to say the least. I have visited several times and have taken lots of my visitors from overseas to see this special place.

This is a small chapel, in a lovely neighborhood, where you can find interesting items for sale outside, adjacent to the chapel, such as handwoven baskets. The chapel itself is lovely, and has a continuously playing audio recording explaining the history of the chapel. It's special attraction is the remarkable staircase -- about which a Barbara Hershey film has even... More
