We all know whale sightings are not guaranteed but it is still disappointing to learn that no whales had been seen or heard in the area. We were told to keep a watch and not to give up. When an Orca pod was reportedly heard,...More

We really enjoyed our tour. We had booked at another company and it turns out they didn't have enough to go out so we chose Western Prince as our back up. The boat was plenty large and very smooth. The crew were friendly, helpful, and...More

We spent a great day searching for orcas but unfortunately were not successful. They encouraged us to return another day on them - no expiration date. Second trip --- we saw a humpback just out the harbor, sea lions, seals, 7 orcas, dolphins, eagles, deer,...More

Okay this is one experience you don't want to miss. Book the zodiac and head for the most fun adventure. Even if the whales are busy somewhere else, which is doubtful, you will learn so much about the Salish Sea and the San Juan Islands....More

The staff was knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to visit on a pristine day loaded with orca sightings! The captain was great about maneuvering the boat for optimal viewing opportunities and keeping in contact with other boaters to find the orca pods. Awesome experience!

Captain Mike and naturalists JB and Allison did an exceptional job in making sure all of us had a rich experience. The crew puts a lot of emphasis on safety, without being heavy-handed. While they can never guarantee that clients will see Orcas, Mike was...More

We sailed on a Sat morning in September. Capt. Mike, Nina and Chandler (hope I got that correct), provided us with great sightseeing and knowledge of a variety of wildlife, as well as of the Islands. We came away with an even greater appreciation and...More
