When taking the ferry to San Juan I had plenty of time to look into the local attractions. I caught a review of the Oyster Farm. So we stopped to pick up some wine so we could enjoy it while shucking our first oysters. It was perfect!.

With respect to Washington wines, the grapes should be better than the wines represent. Most of the red grapes come from Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Based on that, I'm not quite sure why wines were so boring. When you arrive, there's very little signage to direct you where to go. Entering the tasting room, you are not welcomed, you just... More

Nice area but then the whole island is nice. Got inside and when I saw the bottle prices and the charge of $5 for 3 tastings I figured that for $5 I could buy a whole bottle at Trader Joes.

This is a fun little spot to spend some time in Friday Harbor. The tasting are $5 but that can be refunded with a purchase over $40. The wines are reasonably priced for the quality. The gift shop is cute with lots of wine related gifts. There are picnic tables on the property and you can bring a lunch and... More

We visited on one of our trips out to Lakedale in preparation for our wedding there. The place was pretty empty, so we were able to take our wine out to their patio to enjoy the nice view. The staff was friendly enough, but my wife and I both felt the wine was lacking, though I can't say we expected... More

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time not really knowing what to expect. The wine was delicious and being from Seattle we're a little picky about our wine. Yvonne (the owner) was very thoughtful and even drove us to our ferry when our taxi never showed up. All of the employees made sure we were taken care... More

My wife and I were on our way back to Friday Harbor and saw the sign so we stopped. We both hate Chardonnay, but we actually bought a bottle of their Chardonnay as well as a couple bottles of Riesling and consumed the Chardonnay that night in the hot tub. Their Chardonnay isn't aged in oak and that makes all... More

We stopped by San Juan Vineyards on our way back to Friday Harbor from Roche Harbor. What a great little place for a glass of wine on the island! I ordered to glasses of red, and the pleasant gal behind the counter told me i could get a bottle for just two dollars more. So we bought a bottle, each... More

Nice vineyard and tasting room. Was wary of stopping due to some of the reviews of some of the service but stopped anyway. They were very busy so we had to wait a bit. Our server was a bit snippy but i think the owner was there so all went well. The wines we tasted were good and we did... More

This is a cute vineyard, and could be a great place to stop while driving the island. However, it is not worth stopping. Staff was extremely rude during our wine tasting on July 10th. Skip the poor service and head to the grocery store, you'll even save a dollar and enjoy it more!!
