With the weather in the 70s, made this a great hiking day. The trails are easily marked and the maps help navigate the trails. The park was clean, but make sure to watch out for dog droppings.

It is a big park, well cared with plenty trails and a beautiful day in contact with nature. The most amazing part in my opinion the dinosaurs steps. Really amazing! :)

Recently moved to San Antonio and was told about the dinosaur tracks. It was about a 5 mile hike through really rocky paths. Not a difficult hike otherwise. But seeing the tracks, OMG!!! Worth the $6 entrance fee.

Well maintained state park with nice hiking trails, both easy and slightly more rigorous. In addition, there were dinosaur tracks in the process of being uncovered that were within feet of the trail. Nice day excursion only a short drive from the outer loop of...More

Take the hike to the dinosaur tracks and do the scenic overlook. Not a strenuous hike. Very little elevation change and it is gradual. Roughly a 5.5 mile hike. If you are there after it rains you may not see the dinosaur tracks. The overlook...More

Your best bet is to take a picnic lunch and your own water. NO services except for bathrooms.
