Beautiful historic German church. Just a jump from the Riverwalk so it's easy to make the stop. We weren't able to make it for mass, but it was very nice to walk around and take in the architecture and stained glass.

St. Joseph's is the closest Catholic church to the Convention Center, being just 2-3 minutes from the entrance. It is a beautiful little church, although it could use some attention to the physical plant. The parishioners are either poor locals or visitors, but the services are inspiring, as are the sermons.

This is a beautiful church with stained glass windows and stations of the cross in German reflecting the church's history as the parish of King William district residents nestled in a niche of the Shops at Rivercenter.

Went to hear Mass. Close walk from Hotel Havana. Very traditional church in the San Antonio area. Impressive

We were wandering and saw the spire we went in search of it. We discovered a very lovely little church that could have been located in a small town in Alsace or Germany. It was built by German immigrants and features subtle colors inside that are hard to capture in a photo. It is a beautiful place that was a... More

Haven't seen such an ornately done Catholic church in a long time. Don't know the last time the Altar was painted/cleaned, etc., but it looks as if it were completed just yesterday. It's a stunner.

We came upon this church by taking a wrong road to the Alamo. It was such a beautiful surprise. The story of this church is great!

I stumbled upon the church while misrouted back to my hotel. Stepping inside, all the outside noise faded away. The artwork is stunning. Take a few minutes to appreciate this beautiful church.

Beautiful little church that welcomes you with doors open. Brochures help you take a walking tour of the artwork inside the sanctuary.

My wife and I planned on going to the Cathedral for mass, but wanted an english speaking one, so we went to Saint Joseph's. Great and peaceful venue that really made our trip fulfilling. They even had air conditioning during the Mass. Highly recommend you stopping by for a prayer or mass while in downtown San Antonio.
