Overview
More
You can't get more Texas than Pearl beer. This brewery is a beautiful landmark that stands out when driving on the highways around downtown. The limestone structure is now used for events, excercise classes, a culinary institute and more. You can also learn about the haunted stories surrounding it and about what was once the largest brewery in the entire state. You know it's big if it's in Texas and this is the largest of its kind.

We found out about the Pearl from the employees at Alamo Beer Co and seriously what an awesome surprise it was. We visited the complex at night and it was a beautiful sight to see all of the restaurants and parks lit up. The donut...More

Terrible service. There was such a long wait to get appetizers and drinks. A wedge salad was ordered and we were not told they were out of ingredients. Had to ask about the long wait before we were informed. The restaurant did comp the meal,...More

As the name suggests, Pearl Brewery aka 'The Pearl' in the historic district was an old brewery site. Many of the original buildings have been impressively restored and now this popular area is an attraction to locals and visitors alike. It has everything from restaurants,...More

Lets start by being clear that there IS a brewery still at the Pearl - its not the original brewery but nonetheless offers great cold beer. Its awesome that you can wander within the Pearl area and the Riverwalk with said-beer in hand. The shops...More

We visited the Pearl Brewery after leaving the Alamo. It was a half hour walk but not scenic. Definitely should have Ubered. There is a great farmers market and many shops and restaurants. The old Brewery is also restored to a Restaurant and bar which...More

walked here via the riverwalk from downtown hotel, and enjoyed getting rewarded with people watching (farmers market had just ended), some good eats, and a good cold drink. Very neat space, and great destination to walk to on the Riverwalk!

Before our visit to San Antonio, we thought our homework and planning included all of the key attractions (River Walk, The Alamo, Market Square, etc.). Had it now been for the recommendation of a couple of the locals, we would have missed out on one...More

On a recent visit to San Antonio we went to The Pearl. It’s absolutely awesome, an old brewery redone into a Riverwalk with shopping, dining, beautiful outdoor areas, simply amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return!
